Addiction Mutual Help in Other Countries: Notes on an International Conference

In September 1994, the Addiction Research Foundation of Ontario hosted an international conference on addiction and mutual-help movements. The conference was attended by researchers from 13 countries and several clinicians, theorists, and self-identified members of Alcoholics Anonymous who were also full participants or observers. These notes highlight selected topics and include a short bibliography of publications from a recently completed international collaborative study of Alcoholics Anonymous.

En septembre 1994, le Addiction Research Foundation d'Ontario a organizé une conférence internationale sur les toxicomanies et les groupes d'entraide. Des chercheurs de 13 pays ainsi que plusieurs intervenants et membres des Alcooliques Anonymes y participèrent è titre de conférenciers ou d'observateurs. Ces notes mettent en valeur certains des thèmes traités. Une brève bibliographie d'ouvrages portant sur les Alcooliques Anonymes et résultant d'une collaboration entre divers pays est jointe.
