Retention, Check-ins, Connection: How Youth Program Leaders Hurdled Pandemic Pressures

Abstract

The pandemic posed challenges to youth-serving nonprofits (YSNs) creating a need for innovative and creative adaptations in program delivery. This article outlines a three-fold approach used to navigate these challenges, highlighting their resilience, and innovative practices in supporting youth.

La pandémie de Covid-19 a occasionné des défis aux organismes sans but lucratif au service des jeunes (OSJ), suscitant du même coup un besoin d’adaptations innovantes et créatives dans la réalisation de leurs programmes. Cet article décrit une approche à partir de trois volets utilisés pour relever ces défis, en soulignant tant la résilience de ces organismes que la mise en place de pratiques innovantes en matière de soutien aux jeunes.
